The most important part of this game is the soundtrack. All radio stations have a nasty distortion signal making this game painful with speakers and unplayable with headphones. Im going for a refund.

This game is great. Ive played a few missions on an older MBP and Ive not run into any problems so far. One thing I have noticed is that as with some of the other versions Ive bought, the reticule doesnt line up with where the bullets are going. I was hoping this may have finally been corrected. For me this is a 5 star game otherwise.

The game is great. Unfortunetely you cannot control RC toys that are required for mission without the use of a full numpad. So if you have a macbook youre SOL

This game is great! Its a great port; pretty much everything is exactly the same as the original (including the awesome soundtrack). The only gripe I have with it is that the sound quality is very bad for any audio other than the radio stations. It sounds like its been compressed too much or something. Theres too much noise. But other than that, great game. Id definitely rate this 5 stars if the sound quality is fixed.

Brings back the classic old days of vice city on my mac. Great game graphics look better then the ps2 version I had.

Its almost perfect. Sound quality needs work, as well as i have this issue where even if i put the trackpad sensitivity way down in the game the up down scrolling axis goes way too fast. the only solution i have found for this is to slow down tracking speed in system preferences before i open the game which obviuosly is not ideal

Probably one of my favorite games of all time. This game was way ahead of its time. To the user below, you can redefine the controls so you dont need the numeric pad at all.

I love the gta series and Im a huge supporter of rockstar, but i dont understand why there is a constant dirty static noise playing at almost all time, quiet during gameplay, but in the cutscenes it gets really loud and sounds like my speakers are broken. I am using a 2011 15 inch 2.2ghz macbook pro. what is going on? in the mission where you must fly the remote controlled plane, they make it impossible to fly forward, and you cannot alter the controls. I really hope rockstar releases an update for this game soon. please

The sound quality on this game is terrible. (not to mention the graphics have NOT been updated at all.) I thought I would try this despite some of the bad reviews because of the cutscene audio, and those people were right. I have my iMac hooked up to incredible speakers and it sounds like they have been busted when the cutscenes play out. Rockstar needs to get its wallet out and start fixing this before a class action lawsuit is filed against them for ripping us all off.

The game itself runs well. This was my favorite of the series and I strongly recommend those that never played it to download it. I experienced a rare frame rate drop here and there, however it runs great. Please Rockstar, add PS3 controller support for alternative controls. Bluetooth equipted macs can use them, why not patch the game to do so. Im sure a lot of people would appreciate so.

Well where do I start? First off I am a long time GTA fan and always will be, when I heard I could finally play GTA on my new iMac I was stoked! I downloaded this Vice City and the deja vu began. The graphics look better than ever and I do not notice any lagging even though others have posted it. But here are my down sides…. :( 1) The audio on the cut scenes is horrible, it sounds like its underwater or your speakers are broken or damaged. At first I thought it was the sounds of the ocean but I soon after realized it had nothing to do with it. Sounds like an atari game is playing in the background. 2) The controls, I cant get used to this. I could play GTA for hours on end on ps2 but now its almost painful to play longer than half an hour. Yes you can customize the buttons but really there has to be a way I can just use my Ps3 controller to play this game. I mean the iMac has bluetooth so there shouldnt be a reason why not. 3) Very disappointed that there is no option to download the trilogy for a cheaper price. Steam has the trilogy + you get all the original GTAs aswell. Rockstar I love you guys but man I will be waiting for an update to repair this legendary game! Until then my Stars stay at three. The controls are frustrating. The RC devices dont work on a MacBook. I dont want to have to buy an additional piece of equipment to make this game work to its full capacity. Otherwise, the game is ok. I enjoy the music/soundtrack. Its probably why I mostly made the purchase.

Such a good game makes you feel like a kid again with no stress just crusin the town of Vice. And to those who are saying they cant control the rc copter or plane clearly have no patience and quit the game right away without switching the controls in the menu. Come on people do you really think they would put up a Rockstar Title in the app store that you could only get so far in. Defiently buy this you will not disappointed

This is a great game, I love it and the graphics and gameplay are amazing, the only problem which kind of ruins the game for me is when you do the helicopter mission, the up button only lets you increase altitude and it is vertually impossible to go forward, this is a problem that should have never been overlooked and because of it I cant progress within the game. This problem should be fixed immediatly but other then that its a great game.

Awesome! No lag at all, but the cut scenes audio isnt the best. It sounds like your speakers are broken. The controls take a lot of getting used to but other than that its great!

All in all a good game as expected. Love all the rest…. Althought their are several problems i have discovered right off the bat! 1. Sound quality in sub movies is terrible! crackles and scratches. 2. About half the time getting into vehicles is not always possible at first. i press and i press and he just seems to twitch and thats it, i have to press esc then resume in order to enter vehicles when this happens. 3. The Cursor and the bullets do not line up, the bullets appear to be shooting too high and slightly right. The game is great and i recommend it to anybody who has previously owned this game!!! If these minor, yet major glitches were fixed then it would be a 5 star game for me!!!
